Welcome to Rome, one of the oldest and most romantic cities on earth. With 2.7 million people living in this one area you better make a name for yourself if you want to be recognized. It's always been a place that's struck interesting and excitement in the minds of the rest of the world. People come from all over just to get a taste of what the city is really like. And when those two worlds emerge? Lives that were boring before are about to get a whole hell of a lot more interesting. Welcome to a life that will forever change you. Nothing will ever be the same once you take a step into the world of the Roman elite.

[ ] DA VERRAZZANO HALL ,
da Verrazzano hall anchors one end of the main quad; it was built in 1837 and renovated just a few years ago. Here you'll find the Headmaster's office, all other staff offices, and the student's beloved mail room.

00
[ ] MAZZINI TOWER ,
At night students sometimes goof around in front of the lights in front of Mazzini Tower, which cast their 30-foot shadows on the brick monument. The Mazzini Tower was built to honor university alumni who were killed in World War I.

00
[ ] ALGAROTTI THEATRE ,
The university is known for their amazing productions that are put on in it's very own Algarotti Theatre. Some of the most talented actors/actresses and stage hands put their talents to work here.

00
[ ]FULCI COMPLEX ,
The Fulci sports complex is one of the biggest and best in the country. They've got the most advanced conditioning equipment, the best facilities and some of the greatest student athletes.

00
[ ] GUICCIARDINI COMLEX ,
Home to the academics, Guicciardini contains some of the school's handsomest classrooms and handsomest heads (busts, on the walls, of Romans) and was named for the first Headmaster of the university, Francesco Guicciardini.

00
[ ] IL PRATO GRANDE ,
This is a grand place to relax, play frisbee or gather for cross country practice under a willow tree. There are tables and benches scattered all over, as well as some coffee carts just waiting to make your favorite. Surrounded by only two buildings, the area is vast and wide open. Just be glad you don't have to mow it.

00
[ ] I TERRENI COMUNALI ,
The Commons is the university dining hall and the heart of the campus. Commons offers four oak-paneled, dining rooms, plus three smaller dining rooms for smaller get togethers. The dining halls are served by cafeterias that offer homemade bread and soup and salad bar and vegan food and pasta and black beans and rice and frozen yogurt and so on and so forth DAILY. In the Gucci room, downstairs, there are pool tables and games and you can buy your favorite foods and snacks like pizza and calzones. When you're hitting the books at your home at night, The Gucci room even delivers.

[ ] APPARTAMENTI ,
Stacked high and packed along the streets of Rome are plenty of apartments for rent. Most were built long before anyone you know were actually born, but it's Rome. Who cares how old the building is so long as you can say it's in Rome?

00
[ ] CAMERE ,
People can't just live out of a hotel and for some an apartment just won't cut it. There are plenty of houses around the outskirts of Rome for you to purchase or rent if that's what you like. All are fashionable and well built. It wouldn't be Rome if they weren't built to draw the eye.

00
[ ] HOTELS ,
Appearances can be misleading in Rome: crumbling stucco facades may promise little from the outside, but they often hide interiors of considerable elegance. By the same token, elaborate reception areas may lead to surprisingly plain rooms. Many of the lower-price hotels are actually old-fashioned pensioni (pensions) set on one or several floors of a large building. The grand monuments to luxury and elegance are around the major piazzas and Via Veneto.

[ ] LUOGHI ED ATTIVIA ,
Though spread out, Rome invites walking, and taxis are rarely far off. Plan your day taking into account the varying opening hours of the sights you want to visit, which usually means mixing the ancient, classical, and baroque, museums and parks, the center and the environs. Keep in mind that an uncharted ramble through the heart of the old city can be just as satisfying as the quiet contemplation of a chapel or a trek through marbled museum corridors.

00
[ ] RISTORANTI ,
Rome has been known since ancient times for its great feasts and banquets, and though the days of the triclinium and the Saturnalia are long past, dining out is still the Romans' favorite pastime. The city is distinguished more by its good attitude toward eating out than by a multitude of world-class restaurants; simple, traditional cuisine reigns, although things are slowly changing as talented young chefs explore new culinary frontiers.

00
[ ] VIA DEI CONDETTI ,
This street is one of the richest streets in Italy and one of the best streets for shopping in Rome. The via Dei Condotti sports designer stores that would make Americans in heaven. You cannot walk into a store on this street without walking out with 5 bags in your hands.

00
[ ] VITA DI NOTTE ,
Rome's nightlife is decidedly more happening for locals and insiders who know whose palms to grease and when to go where. The "flavor of the month" factor is at work here, and many places fade into oblivion after their 15 minutes of fame. Smoking has been banned in all public areas in Italy; Roman aversion to clean air has meant a decrease in crowds at bars and clubs. The best sources for an up-to-date list of night spots are roma c'è and Where. Trastevere and the area around Piazza Navona are both filled with bars, restaurants, and people after dark.

[ ] TEXT MESSAGING ,
These days, text messaging is a basic form of communication. If you don't feel like talking to someone, just send them a text. Texts are unable to be avoided, so you'll always get a response.

00
[ ] MYSPACE ,
Who are you kidding? Anyone who's anyone has a MySpace. They're the hottest thing around, even though Tom has issues constantly and things are never working. Follow the trend, get a MySpace, and post your link here.

00
[ ]BLOGS ,
Everyone and their brother has an online journal aka blog these days. Whether it's myspace, facebook, or some other form of a journal. Everyone has one. It's great on keeping people updated on your life!

00
[ ]THE PHOTOS ,
Got some new pictures of you in that killer red bikini? Or maybe you just want to show off your new beau...Whatever the occasion, post your pictures here! And comment your friends. They like to feel special.

00
[ ] AIM ,
This is a great way to get ahold of someone. Some argue that it's easier to simply pick up the telly, but hey...we are the technology age!
